PRP Therapy
PRP (platelet rich plasma) injection treatment has previously been highlighted in the media, specifically for the common use with athletes and also being used within aesthetic procedures. This unique and innovative procedure has earned it nicknames such as the “Vampire Facial” some many years back, simply due to the use of the highly specialised cells contained in our blood. Most recently, PRP is fast becoming a celebrity must-try treatment. Here at Dynamic Regenerative Medicine in Warwickshire, we have been performing this popular natural treatment for over 10 years, and all our patients can now experience this popular biological treatment.
How does PRP Treatment work?
PRP treatment stimulates cellular proliferation and tissue regeneration to dramatically accelerate healing, making it a very effective for injury treatment, arthritis, various forms of tendinitis, skin rejuvenation and hair restoration, in fact - PRP is exceedingly popular for the treatment of hair loss! Additionally, PRP is a very safe procedure, since the platelets come from your own cells.
Firstly, a small sample of blood is drawn from the patient and mixed with an anticoagulant to stop the blood from clotting. The platelets are then separated from other blood cells, while their concentration is increased during a process called centrifugation. At Dynamic Regenerative Medicine we have specifically chosen the best PRP kits due to the unique process by which gain higher levels of concentration. This results in super concentrated PRP, which in turn provides superior post-treatment results.
PRP Treatment for skin - Unlike other injection treatments available, PRP treatment helps to restore and enhance the skin and improves general signs of ageing. As we know treatment like a dermal fillers and Botox does not treat the skin itself, however, PRP can considerably improve skin texture and tone, thereby giving one’s skin a healthy appearance, to keep your skin looking more youthful and rejuvenated.
