How is PRP Treatment successful for Hair Loss?


We all know and understand that hair loss is notoriously difficult to treat. There are always many treatments claiming to stop hair loss and regrow hair, but we remain sceptical. so what does work for the treatment of Hair Loss?

How does PRP treatment work?


PRP treatment for hair loss is a quick easy procedure that, which is used by taking a small sample (20ml) of the patient's blood and placing it in a centrifuge to spate the plasma from the red blood cells. Local anaesthetic can be added to the scalp to numb the area, making the treatment far more comfortable. Then the PRP (platelet rich Plasma) is injected into the scalp - primarily focussing on areas of concern. Then this PRP treatment then releases growth factors which are used to stimulate hair follicles.



When will I see results?


Initially we expect to see reduced shedding (Hair fall), within the first four weeks. up until the 3 month period, we expect to see, thicker, stronger hair. Optimum results and better scalp coverag will usually be seen following 6 months after your first PRP hair loss treatment.
